SMS Consent Communication

Any phone numbers collected through our Mobile Opt-In or SMS consent process will not be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to coordinate Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS/VFSS) and FEES scheduling with the skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and CCRCs we serve.

Types of SMS Communications

If your facility has consented to receive text messages from MBS Imaging, you may receive messages related to:

Scheduling and confirming upcoming MBSS/VFSS or FEES appointments at your facility

The scheduled date and a two-hour arrival window for our mobile imaging team

A courtesy heads-up approximately 30 minutes before our team arrives on-site

Rescheduling, delays, or other day-of coordination updates

For privacy purposes, our messages do not include the name of the specific clinician (radiologist, SLP, etc.) who will be arriving, or identify individual patients by name.

Example: "This is MBS Imaging. We're scheduled to arrive at [Facility Name] between 1:00–3:00 PM on [Date] for swallow study testing. We'll text again about 30 minutes before we arrive. Reply STOP to opt out."

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your facility's scheduled studies. You may receive up to [X] SMS messages per week related to appointment scheduling and arrival updates.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary depending on your carrier and plan.

Opt-In Method

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from MBS Imaging by submitting an online form or providing verbal/written consent to our scheduling team.

Opt-Out Method

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive, or by contacting us directly to request removal from our messaging list.

Additional Options

If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you may decline to check the SMS consent box on our forms and instead coordinate scheduling by phone or fax.
